11 + Reading Comprehension - Written Responses

If your child is sitting a formal, reading comprehension exam, then this class is highly recommended. 
In these 45 minute sessions, we will be examining narrative and non-narrative texts, classic and challenging story extracts among them, before working through written-response questions. I will guide your child through the process of ensuring their answers meet the question and have the sufficient depth and detail to score well in their 11+ or SATs exam. 
Please note that these lessons deal with challenging texts and have challenging questions which are best suited to students who read rich texts and who have a broad vocabulary. 
A follow-up reading comprehension homework task will be issued after the lesson, with a detailed marking and assessment provided.
