11+ R.C. Written Responses Boot Camp

If your child is sitting a formal reading comprehension, in which they need to write extended answers, then this is the class for them. 
 
Across 4 days, we will examine a classic text extract together, perhaps a story extract from an illustrious author such as Dickens or Austen, or a classic poem. I will then guide the students through a range of 11+ practice questions, ensuring that their answers meet the requirements of the question and have the detail and coverage needed. 
These are very challenging questions, on equally challenging texts, suitable for students in Year 5+ who are well-read and with a broad vocabulary. 
 
The students will have the opportunity to put their learning into practice when they tackle a comprehension homework task, which is issued after the final lesson. If returned, this homework will be assessed.
 
Lessons cost £15 - or all 4 can be purchased for £50.
