King's Hedges Primary School
It was very evident in their stories, just how much the Year 6 children knew about WW2. Lots of accurate historical detail helped the children write authentic WW2 stories, many of which involved code-breaking, no doubt inspired by a recent visit to Bletchley Park. What most impressed me however, was how the children the children gripped the reader from the very first word, and kept the reader hooked until the very last word. Congratulations to all the Year 6 children who produced excellent short stories, a selection of which can be enjoyed below.
